get no claims as a name driver

Hi I am looking to insure my car ford mondeo 2.0 on my partners name so I would be a name driver but still would like to get no claim bonus. Would you know what companies do that?

    Many Thanks,

    Marika

I know Direct Line do this. And in my experience they've been quite competitive on pricing. The idea however behind named driver is that you're not the main driver of the car. Although legally you will be insured and you might not have a problem, it is worth noting that if you did have a major accident, the insurance company would look into more depth regarding how much you have been driving the car. Just thought I'd mention that.

    Cheers,

It is probably worth noting that named driver no claims bonus(es) are NOT transferable to another insurance company and therefore they can only be used with that insurer. Do NOT chose this product if this is the only deciding factor as it will cost you more money in the long run.
