    Fleet Insurance Policy - family

I did not put this in the Insurance bracket as I don't want sellers trying to flog me something.

My household has three vehicles and I want to get a single, Fully Comprehensive policy for the lot to include business use but ONE driver. None of the search engines allow for this and my nearest broker is some 30 miles away (not far enough).

    Any ideas whom to approach?

    SHARK!

    Hi Sharky!

    You could try: http://www.blagrovefleet.co.uk/minifleetInfo.php

    and http://www.towergaterisksolutions.co.uk/products/business-insurance/commercial-fleet-insurance.aspx

    Look for the mini-fleet policies!!

    BUT

If it's only going to be you driving, and for 3 cars, then I'm pretty sure it will be cheaper insuring them all separately. With fleet, they provide you with extra coverage which will cost you more on the premium, but which you won't need as you are the only driver.

Give them a shout and see what they say mate.

Oh you could also try phoning some intermediaries (some of which are on the MS site) who have a scheme called "RSA Business Car" (Royal and Sun Alliance). Although you will have to get three separate policies, the discount for the applicable scheme is far greater than that of a private policy! I definitely think this is the way forward. The criteria, however, is that the risk postcode is where the vehicles are kept during the DAY (not night), and must be in a company name... if this is at all possible??
