    Earning extra income

Hi I am looking for options to earn some extra money, my monthly expenses seems to have spun out of control, and I can't make a dent in my credit card.

I have a full time job, but wondered if anyone could advise me as to ideas for earning money from home in the evenings and at weekends. I don't really want a bar or waitressing job, we are recently married and so don't want to be out the whole time!

     Any advice gratefully received!

     Thank-you in advance!

    Re: Earning extra income

    Good Morning,

Some of my friends (female) have put adverts in Local stores and papers offering an ironing service. They do this ironing when watching T.V in the evening. Some save the money and use it for the holiday fund or for pocket money. Their customers drop off and collect the ironing so you don't even have to have a car!Your could  keep it for your credit card!  You would be surprised how much interest and work they get. Some charge by the hour and some charge by the bag.

    Hope this has inspired you.

Mr Big (I'm female by the way!!)

    Just food for thought!

I enjoy cooking so was thinking I could make ready made meals for people, there is a store shop who have said they would sell them!

I hate to put a downer on your idea, but please make sure you meet all the H&S legistation when it comes to preparing food for sale as it will be very risky otherwise.

    Hi EJB,

My name is Malcolm. My wife and I run a business from home. We are both 60+ and both working. I am  taxi driver,  3 nights p.week and my wife works P/T in a cafe. We do most of our business on Internet. The time required depends on you and your situation. Wife is Penny and me Malcolm. It may not be for you, but we find that the time required for this is no different at the beginning as it is now but our business now grows by itself.

    Best Regards

    Malcolm

I work from home around my current commitments running my own business part time. This is the best opportunity I have come across to date and it is possible for anyone to run this business. Thanks

    Re: Earning extra income

Look out for the dodgy offers that promise instant riches by working from home, just send £10 or so. If you get to the stage of believing these, you will only find instant poverty after sending enough £10s.

You should look for something that interests you, that you enjoy and that you are good at. It is worth trying selling on eBay - some people can, some people can't - but start with something small (like a used book that cost 20p at a car boot sale) so it's not the end of the world if things go wrong.

    Re: Earning extra income

eBay is very hard to make money from. I have tried it in the past with second hand stuff and by the time you have taken into account the listing fee's, ebay's fees for winnins, and paypal's fees then you aren't left with much.

I work as a distributor for Kleeneze and this business is creating incomes of over £450,000 per annum. Yes that much, from a little catalogue business. Obviously this is the top earner and he has been involved for some time. But regardless of when and where you start you can make of it what you want. One chap is earning double than what the guy who introduced him to the opportunity is, why? Because he worked harder at it. It is an extremely fair system where by you get paid for the work you do. Nothing technical, no smoke and mirrors. All extremely simple.

I also visit JamersPad forums for contact information.

    Thanks

    Michael
