To you all who helped distract me whilst I was trying to write my assignment. ( you know who you are).

Thanks very much. I got my results through the post this morning and I passed with a Merit. (yeah). Not bad considering I hadn't written an assignment like it in more than 20 years. The final day I was writing things up and putting references in order my dog died which was very upsetting and as you can imagine typing up an assignment was the last thing I wanted to do. But I passed so that sets me on my way for my degree.

As for the additional proposed additions to the assignment I am afraid I didn't include it as I felt it could detract the reader from the whole purpose of the piece. But thanks for your in put anyway.

Supposedly the last week at The Rock before we go on garden leave. Keep your fingers crossed for us, everyone- these are sad and uncertain times :(

Thanks for your congrats and sympathies. My furry friend will not be replaced, it has been incredibly tough and I've been far more upset than I thought I would be. I think seeing my Dad in tears over him really got to me( only seen that once before).

Hubby couldn't get over the fact that in my career I have dealt with some really tragic situations and could deal with all that stuff but loosing the dog really floored me.

As for the assignment no condiments will be served during the celebrations.

Good luck to all our "rockers" our thoughts are with you all. Have you considered writing a book whilst on Garden leave?? Just an idea, Booker prize maybe! or a tele drama.
