HI, I went onto the internet last week and started to fill in a loan application with the aa for a loan but was only a quarter of the way through my application when my laptop died so when it was fixed i decided to look on my experian report for my figures and noticed a search had been done on the day that i had started to fill in the application with the aa- it said bank of scotland-unknown application and i know aa use bank of scotland so can i get that search removed from my file as i did not complete the application or submit it

You should be able to get it removed. You'll need to call RBS' customer service department and explain what happened, they should have a record of the online application, and should be able to see how much of it was completed/incomplete, then they should remove it from your credit report.
