    Hello,

    I realise that credit searches stay on your file for 12 months - but also heard that they only take notice of the last 6 months. Is this true?

    I have quite a few about 8 moths old, but nothing in the last 6 months.

    Could depend on the lender but would reckon it would be 12 months
