    Credit Rating

Today I have just checked my credit file and find my experian score is in free fall, here are a list of my scores over the last year

438 (10/05/2008) No credit applied for, no missed payments

578 (25/03/2008) Credit applied for (Re-Mortgage, Unsuccessful), no missed payments

697 (20/03/2008) Spouse applied for credit (turned down), no missed payments

658 (27/02/2008) No credit applied for, no missed payments

734 (15/01/2008) Credit Applied for (successful), No missed payments

799 (18/12/2007) Credit Applied for (successful), No missed payments

858 (21/09/2007) No credit applied for, no missed payments

590 (21/07/2007) No credit applied for, no missed payments

668 (14/06/2007) Credit Applied for (successful), No missed payments

734 (25/05/2007) No credit applied for, no missed payments

As you can see todays score is 438, the lowest it has been, now

I have never missed a payment, everything is green on experian

    I have 6 credits

I just cant understand this and my main concern is I will be looking at changing my mortgage later (september) and really do not want this affecting the decision.

Could anyone help with information on why this is happening or if it is happening to anyone else! Is it because of the way credit is at the moment....

    Thanks in Advance...

    John
