    Capital One Credit Card

I have been advised by a friend to change over my credit card often in order to lessen the risk of credit card fraud/card cloning as well as making the most of good deals available. I am interested in Capital One's Platinum Card as the deal sounds good, but wonder if anyone has any experience of having a card with this company?

    Re: Capital One Credit Card

Hi, My friend as a caital one card. (Platnuim) As far as im aware she is quite happy with it, The only down side is if your payments are late they constantly call you to keep reminding you although you are aware and because there call centres are in diffrent countrys the language barrier is a bit hard to get by. LOL!!!!

Not sure if you know this but be careful when you are changing over credit cards as you may notice that it shows up on your credit report and some companies think that you may have done this for a reason and it may raise quetions this is what happend to me around 2 years ago i found it quiet difficult to credit afterwards.

    Re: Capital One Credit Card

After my experience I would advice against. I have an excellent credit rating and was given a card right away, when I tried to pay on line I discovered that there site does not accept bank cards of more than 18 digits. I have no trouble accessing the site but without this facility I consider it useless. Following a complaint I find I have been bared from the site altogether. I am being advised to call them by phone which just happens to be a premium number. SMEG

I have had no problems whatsoever with Capital One in more than five years as a cardholder. And, I am able to login to their website and make online payments just fine. (No, I do not work for Capital One.)
