From the beginning of February BT customers will have to pay 21 times what they used to for a 59 minute phone call. It went up from 4.5p to 94.5p. The cost of a two minute call has doubled.
What's more, they used to charge £1.50 to send out a single quarterly bill. They now charge £3.75 - more than double! At least the power companies have someone else to blame for their rises. What possible excuse can BT give for increasing the cost of sending out two or three double-sided sheets once a quarter?
The relentless crushing of poor or light users continues.
