dose anyone call at your home and still try and take youre belonings etc.

what about our furnitcher tv etc. my childrens toys and bikes my car is only worth 850.00 and we have nothing else of value.. thanks.

Hi, Im in exactly the same situation as you.

I have been advised that once you have the court reference number to your name, then no-one can touch you, unless that is you will big on the lotto or something.

As for the car, My car is worth £350ish and was told that your car is safe and worthless to everyone if under £1500, as if they took it off you they aint gonna get much for it when they come to auction it.

When you come to fill in your STATEMENT OF AFFAIRS just dont big your car up at all. Its a *** box to everyone but you.

i was discharged last year in dec. when bankruptcy came through i told them what i got paid and what i paid out ie rent sky, broadband etc and they took £5/mth from me when i was clearing £613/wk but i made up half the stuff(not advisable) on my third year they bumped it up to £100 per week but at that point i only had 2mths to go so i didnt mind paying it. im discharged now and now have my bank account back, credit card and contract phone, but ive learned the hard way and im taking it easy from now on!!!!

No one can touch you after you have been declared bankrupt. If anyone knocks at your door demanding money or goods, Smile!
