I have TalkTalk B'band. Every now and then I cannot access certain websites such as hotmail - but eerything else is fine.

I get an error message relating to the server, but I can access everything else so I'm confused.

It's infuriating - anyone have any ideas of how to get round this?

If you can access other sites at your usual speed it is unlikely to be TalkTalk's servers. Sounds like a temporary glitch with Hotmail's servers instead. Remember that mail servers can get bogged down fighting spam and other maliciousness. And other sites can just get more traffic than they can handle. The Web sits on normal computers like yours or mine. Now and then their technicians have to shrug their shoulders and switch them on and off.
