    Amount of calls from insurance companies...

    Not sure if this is the right place, but i cant find anywhere else.!

    I accidently left the box ticked for My info to be passed around, or for other insurance companies to use my details, And in the 18 hours its been since i got my quote, i've had no less than 53 calls from 17 different companies throughout today, starting at 6am and got the last one a few mins ago.

    How on earth do i stop this? Its really starting to get to me....

    Go to the Mail Preference Service and choose the Telephone Preference Service under this banner (you can find them at www.mpsonline.org.uk) and this will sort out the problem long term. You should also contact the company to whom you inadvertently gave permission and tell them to remove your permission as a matter or urgency.

    SHARK!

    Register with http://www.tpsonline.org.uk

    It wont make any noticeable difference for a few weeks but after a month or so the calls should be reduced to just an odd one from overseas (I got offered an investment oportunity from Dubai yesterday!)

    That's nothing. Wait until you see the number of posts you get from grammar na_zis pointing out it should be "number of calls" not "amount of calls.  :;
