i had a 12 months contract with 3uk for a mobile and for a datacard,started last mid march(2007),mid feb 2008 i sent one letter with my details,asking to cancel both contracts,letter sent thru recorded delivery and succesfully received.
i got a call about the mobile contract,and i took their new deal, end of march,and i supposed that contract related to my datacard has been succesully cancelled.well,not!they are keeping on charging me for that,after 2nd charge i have contacted them,and what they finally told me is that the cancellation request was not complete,some details missing(???),and they sent me a letter asking for such a details,letter never arrived,maybe lost or God knows where is it.they didn't get such a "details" and that is the reason why they're keeping my datacard contract still valid.
i did bother myself to send to 3g a recorded delivery letter,they didn't do the same,if i only had spoken to them about it,instead to sending me a letter never arrived everything could have been ok.the best effort they can actually do after my last conversation with them is tpo cancel my contract from today...are we joking?is it my fault if i send you a letter which you got and you didn't get back to me being sure i have got your reuest for your "missing details"?
what i think is that i did cancel my contract,and they ignored my request,should i claim my money unfairly taken back?
just want to cut direct debit now,but i know i'll face big problems.any suggestion?thx for reading...
