Sorry indi...lol
Let me make it simple..il try and space this out as its not as simple to somepeople(not you indi) as i seem to think.
You go to saga from hastings with 7 years ncd,you leave saga at next renewal and they normally send out proof of 4 years or 60% on the renewal notice as they put it.
This doesnt mean you have lost the 7 years you went to saga with as the renewal, this is what Scot Hall seemed to imply.
The the renewal notice is a standard letter which they normally send out with their maximum ncd on.
Saga would have the amount of ncd you went to them with on file,so its just a case of contacting their customer service department and getting them to issue a letter stating you have 7 years ncd.
Thats what hastings do,any ncd the customer comes to us with is kept of the policy file notepad clearly displayed so that if a customer leaves us we can amend our standard ncd proof letter and give customer 9 years instead of 7.
