    wing mirror voids insurance?

    Hello there,

I had a minor prang in my car the other week, I went into the back of someone and I need to claim on my insurance.  Thing is, some fool knocked off my wing mirror earlier in the day ( a day of bad luck!), so when I had the accident I had no left wing mirror.  I tdidn't make any difference to the crash ( we were in a traffic jam going at less than 5mph) but I was wondering if the fact that my wing mirror was gone would void my insurance?  I'm screwed if it does...

    many thanks,

    NJ

    Re: wing mirror voids insurance?

i would inform the insurers and explain that it happened the same day, (specify the time the wing mirror became damaged)

i dont think it would void insuarance but the best people to ask is them. they may have different policies in their t and c's

     good luck
