    plusnet advance charges?

i was thinking about joining plusnet and got as far as filling out the joining application only to find i had to pay advance charges before im even connected, could sumone please tell me why ive got to pay in advance before i go live as i dont think that is fair as most other companys put advance charges on your first bill after your go live date.

    Re: plusnet advance charges?

    Hi there,

What advance charges are these? If you are signing up as a completely new customer and not migrating in from another supplier there is an activation fee. However you don't have to pay this up front, this can be deferred for 12 months, meaning that if you decide to stay for the full 12 months you wouldn't pay this charge.

If you want to let me know the username you signed up with I can check this for you.

I've just had a look through and I think there was a problem raised to resolve this, I'll double check to be sure when I'm back in on Monday.
