    BT Checker No, Others Yes

    Hello,

I am about to move to a new flat in a week. I decided to give MAAF a try, that's why I post this here.

I have checked on various pages for availability of broadband using the number of the BT line that is installed. The line is currently not in use. All (MAAF, Namesco, Plusnet) say it is available (with 6.5 MBit). However, the BT Wholesale Availability Checker (forwarded from http:// www.thinkbroadband.com / btavailability.html) says this:

"For Telephone Number 01926xxxxxx on Exchange SOUTHAM

    Your exchange has ADSL broadband.

However, despite an engineer's visit to your premises it has been proved not possible for your telephone line to support broadband service. Please accept our apologies. We are continuing to look for alternative technology solutions and this site will be updated with developments as they happen.

    Thank you for your interest."

Which one should I trust now?

    Thanks in advance

    Steffen

    Hello Andersenman,

If you could please email me at care AT madasafish.com with the subject line attn: Samara MoneySupermarket and include your telephone number that you wish to have broadband on, I'll do my best to get to the bottom of this.

    Kind regards,

    Samara
