Vicissitude: Shaver:Any hints on who is cheap but still provides cover for 2-3 travel in europe?
I presume we are talking about car insurance, and for 2-3 weeks in EU? Most of the companies out there provide minimum cover required by EU laws for 30, 60, 90 days or unlimited (Saga) as standard. You will have to pay a premium if you are looking for cover to the equivalent of 'Fully Comprehensive' whereby your vehicle will be covered against damage. This premium does depend on the insurer but most are fairly similar. Usually about £20-£30 +/- amendment charges per week for this extension to cover.
Have you asked your current insurer?
Saga cover is fully comp in the EU provided you buy fully comp in UK,No need to notify or pay extra, hope this helps.
