refused a loan with excellent credit rating

    Hi,

I have just applied for a loan, i have a credit rating of 970 out of 1000, i earn about 12,000 per year, plus commision on top, but was refused a loan of 8000 for 4 years with payments of around 200???? i dont understand why as it would remove my other loan by paying it off with that amount, the left over was going to be used towards a car. Does anybody have anyideas why my application would of failed??

hi there the best thing to do is go on to a credit report site it is free 4 a month there it will tell you where if any got a problem .it also goes on the house you live in if someone lived there b4 you they may have got things and not paid 4 them so it goes bad 4 the next person who moves in .(how long have you lived there )?.if you go on the credit report site and you see something that is not right you can phone or email them and they can get it sorted 4 you .good luck

No it doesn't, they aren't allowed to blacklist addresses anymore.

It's much more likely you were refused because the loan is 66% of your gross income. That's quite a big unsecured loan for someone on your level of income.
