Hi All but just a thought.

I appreciate that one should not invest more than £35000 in any one institution for so called 100% protection if that institution went bust.

But what intrigues me is what large companies, insurance companies etc etc do, or these mega rich people, as there aren't enough different institutions around to spread their money, keeping it within £35000.

Large companies etc must have millions of pounds in a single bank.

Only a thought but any explanation welcome.
