backfoot..not sure if that was a joke or not but i dont touch savings, main role is account managing when customers are overdrawn, behind with loan repayments or has queries about excess charges or debt repayment plans when they fall into arrears.

Oh I took the thread to be a link into the inner workings of Barclays.A sort of inside job to cut out the crap and get to the truth. Lots of people got very frustrated with them last year when they marketed this ISA product and failed to support it with any sort of customer service.I wanted to know how this year was going?

Have to say I like Barclays Stockbrokers. A pretty efficient outfit in my experience. Please pass on my message.

veloxuk,to be honest i dont that have that info on me as i dont deal with executive accounts, your best bet is try the barclays website and you will be able to find the info on there.

The questions i can answer are mainly to do with debts really as im working in collections, apologies if i didnt make that clear earlier on

    Re: Barclays bank questions anyone??

Are you in a fit state to perform your job at Barclays following this evening's celebration? Perhaps Barclay's could sponsor some extra training for Ronaldo to practice penalty taking.Or an incentive scheme!!

    Re: Barclays bank questions anyone??

In your opinion RA why do you think there is such a huge variation in the quality of answers one gets from Barclays CS? The TAX HAVEN post is a small illustration.

Oh yeah and by the way I think the reason VR (Vic) doesn't show you respect is because he secretly wants to be you and is all bitter and twisted about his inability to raise the cash so that he can be remolded into you. Sad really.

    Re: Barclays bank questions anyone??

to be honest DRUMSTER,i think most people are barclays sing from the same hymn sheet if they work in the same section.

collections all operate the same way, customer service however i think you are right, some of em think i have a overdraft which i dont...i have limit of £10 which aslong as i dont go over then i wont go into collections, its not cash ive access to as some in cs think it is.

AS for VIC ,you could be right lol, although i doubt he'd admit it LOL

    Dear RA

Your time has come! If you haven't already I would appreciate you looking at the recent threads on "Barclays Tax Haven ISA" post. It shows the link to the BBC Money Box interview where Barclays disgraces itself with spurious reasons for only backdating iinterest after 14 days. Words fail me at this outrage bearing in mind that the cash has to be in a current account earning no or nominal interest at the £3600+ level on call to Barclays.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/moneybox/7418541.stm

    QUESTIONS

1 Any feeling as to whether Barclays see a spectacular own goal developing or couldn't care less?

2 If Barclays don't care any thoughts on how best to kick Barclays?

    Thanks, drumster.
