    HI,WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE TO PLACE OVER 25K IN CASH SHORT TERM TO RECEIVE THE BEST INTEREST PAYMENTS??? (by short term i mean 1 year maximum)

    Use up your ISA allowance first.

    There are some fixed rate bonds for 6 months that are paying 6.8+%.
