I'm going to be moving in with my girlfriend in the next few weeks, and we have thought about setting up a joint account to pay for rent and bills etc. This should be far more convenient than paying things individually, and trust isn't an issue (i.e. I trust she's not going to run off with all our money!). We'll both have our salaries going into our individual accounts still.

Does anyboy know which banks offer the best deals? Ideally we would like an interest-free overdraft of a couple of hundred quid just in case. There'll probably be about £600-700 going in each month, which looks like a lot of banks enforce charges unless £1000 is paid in.

If anybody could give me any advice or recommendations on this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
