I purchased a last minute holiday over the phone two weeks ago, for a holiday the same week. When i printed the confirmation email they sent me i noticed they had put travel insurance on. I called them back and said i didn't ask or wasn't even asked if i wanted this and said i did not want it. They told me to email them and they should refund the amount for me and cancel the insurance.
Well i emailed them but due to the lateness was unable to wait for a reply and i was due to fly off the day after. When i got back i had recieved a reply saying as it was so late on they were unable to cancel the insurance and therfore could not refund my money.
Is there any thing i could do about it? i realise the date the insuarance was for has past but if i didn't want it and didn't have time to sort this out before i left ican't see what else i could have done.
Any suggestions?
