    does anyone know if abbey and hsbc are still protected by the ifa and if its worth sending a letter based on templates to them notifying them of our intention to get our charges back?

    Check tomorrow as that is when the OFT will make it's announcement re if the charges are unfair.You can still pursue any bank for charges.
