Hi, I've been looking at some of the comparision sites for a friend to try and help him decide which broadband package to go for to get set up with his PC. He is currently with BT for unlimited calls 24/7 with a BT landline. I don't know if he is still tied in with a contract or not.
He needs a large download limit, preferably unlimited, and his postcode is covered by most of the major isps.
The confusion arises when you start taking into account that companies such as Tiscali offer broadband and call packages together, maybe he would be better keeping his BT landline and switching to a call and broadband package with them?
I'm wondering if it works out economical to keep the BT package for calls and, for instance, go for the tiscali unlimited broadband package, or does it work out better to stick with BT for a combined package with 24/7 calls and BT broadband with a reasonably high download limit? It's so confusing, lol.
???? I'd be very grateful if you can help because he's going through a bit of a difficult time at the moment and needs a distraction, lol.
