    INSURANCE

I would prefer all my insurance policies - property, contents, car, travel - to be with one company. Is there a company that could cope with this and is it likely to produce a discount?

Nationwide building society has always done all of my insurance - although "eggs in one basket" springs to mind ......

    Re: INSURANCE

Eggs in one basket is working for me!

I went to a broker who could sort out my insurance requirements. I can be a bit "dizzy" at times and I found it good to have everything under one phone number. Although some of my insurers are different, I know if I have any problems the broker will work for me in sorting anything out should any claims be made. Also...If I was to missplace any documents (I have and it wont be the last time!) my broker can find out what I need very quickly!

Sometimes it does pay to have them all in one basket! When I was changing cars and insurance companies I had some cancelation charges that my broker was able to get waivered by talking to the companies direct.

    I use "A plan"

    Just food for thought!

    Re: INSURANCE

eggs in one basket works every time, despite the fact most insurers dont advertise it

Most insurer offer call centre on branch discounts if you put all the business with them,

its not just the financial aspect,it saves you having to deal with different companies and the endless levels of crap service you get from most of em ,its always best to have a insurer who you can call for free as making a complaint can cost a lot on 0870 and 0845 or 08448 numbers.
