Who is the best for life insurance when the spouse is a 10 a day smoker!

I was always led to believe norwich union were the best

not now they are not based on my decline for life insurance joint cover for me and wife

It was declined on the basis my wifes previous problem with her throat caused by her glands and airways closing up on her, they said its because she smokes, well so does millions of others but they dont all have the same problem.

Its not as if my wife had cancer or any serious illness,it was a problem easily treated and she left hospital after 2 days lol and never had any problems since.
