My Buildings and Contents Insurance has come up for renewal.

I have been doing some homework, using moneysupermarket.com and other comparison sites.

One thing that does not seem to get answered is in my opinion one of the most important ones.

How well are you treated should you have a major claim, like those people in Yorkshire and Gloucestershire in last year’s floods. I have seen news reports on the TV and some people seem to have had excellent service while others have been treated very badly.

All the companies I have been in touch with claim to be superior to all others, none obviously, say that they are the poor ones.

Could we possibly have a “League Table” or maybe other people could post up the experiences of the different insurance companies.
