    Cash ISA

    Hia

I already have an existing cash ISA that is 2 years old but i have put £800 in it this year. Can i open a new one now with a different provider and put the remaining £2200 in the new one please?

    thanks

    Re: Cash ISA

    No you can not.

You can only subscribe to one provider in any tax year. You will have to put the £2200 in the same one as the £800 and then open a new one and transfer it in April.

    Hope this helps...
