Re: FIRST NATIONAL - MORTGAGE OFFER

I will set up an email account and pass on the details to you.

You're not alone, I can't remember a more stressfull time. I think the level of service is a shambles!

Stay hopefull though - Trust your Broker and Vendor are supportive?

Re: FIRST NATIONAL - MORTGAGE OFFER

    Now that's a wierd one?

You think you have all bases covered, and it's always the unexpected that gets jammed in the works!

You have to agree, we accept it as the norm, but it seems every bank in the land is short staffed! We are totally at their mercy and there is nothing we can do. They don't have a second thought as to how their actions and delays effect us.

My family and are literally going to be homeless on the 16th May and I truly can't see anything happening at all, not at this pace!

It does get you down and you have many, many bad days (which I think most are avoidable) but hey, you have to remember what is at the end of the rainbow!

Has your broker not stressed how important this is to them? He should be phoning them every day chasing it to make sure the worst doesnt happen. sometimes you just feel like phoning first nat direct and cutting out the middle man to see if thats any faster.

Ill keep everything crossed for you.

Re: FIRST NATIONAL - MORTGAGE OFFER

    Ha Ha Ha,

Now that is funny! If only u knew the story with the Broker - that's the reason why after staring this process on the 14th February, we are still no closer.

I've even left them alone for a week, reverse physcology to see if they work better without being hassled, guess what - not a word from them for almost a week now!

It was a case of waisting another week going to another broker, or hoping and praying that this Broker would pull-out-all-the-stops to make it up to me. It looks like I may regret that decision. Although absolutley fuming mad, I would be a fool to let rip at this stage.

All said and done, I am now looking for tempoary accomoadation, as even if an offer arrived today, it aint gonna happen before the 16th!

You have got to stay positive otherwise there is no hope and I sincereley wish you well and do not want to put a downer on it for u. I'm sure your Broker is a lot more proffessional and that offer will arrive shortly. I have been told by many that if WE were going to get a NO, it should have happened already.

Let me know how u r getting on.

Re: FIRST NATIONAL - MORTGAGE OFFER

yeah ive been told the same thing its def not a no they are just dotting the i's and crossing the tees ( quite a lot for it to take this long).

You should write to the FSA after youve completed and complain i no it will do no good but it will let you vent some anger.

I hope things start to get better for you soon you deserve your offer way before me. Im goin to phone my broker tonight and find out whats happening now prob waste of a phone call but hey got to do something.

    xx
