    Preventing Condensation

I get condensation on the windows (single glazing). I read somewhere that if you spread a small amount of washing up liquid over mirrors and windows, it helps to prevent condensation - guess what? It appears to work! I put a pea-sized amount on one side of my windows and the side without washing up liquid has condensation. Can anyone explain the science?

I'm so happy after the celebrations of the Welsh beating the English, I thought I'd help you out :)
