    Lost luggage

Looking for some advice- we purchased a package holiday - flights and cruise , purchased as a package.

7 night hioliday , however our luggage was lost on the outbound journey and did not catch up with us until the 6th day into the cruise.

As you can imagine, this completely spoiled the holiday for us ......the question is " who is responsible " the cruise company blame the airline, but as the holiday was purchased and paid to the cruise company, I would have thought that they were liable for the compensation?

My travel insurance has already paid for the luggage delay.......any advice would be appreciated

    Re: Lost luggage

Your contract is with the cruise company and that is whom I would pursue for anything and everything. Their problems are not your problems so don't be fobbed off. Just make sure that your travel insurance wasn't a full and final settlement that the cruise company can use as a weasel exit plan.

    SHARK!

Thanks for your reply- I have already written to them and received a "hard luck "  - pursue it with the airline letter !

I have written back to them, and said that as the airline is their Agent, they are responsible for sorting it out , but I just know that I'm going to have a fight on my hands!!

I will threaten them with legal action in my next letter !
