Just wanted to say thank you to this forum for providing me with the contact details of Pipex CEO and Chairman (Mike Read and Peter Dubens). I have been trying unsucessfully for the past 5 months to get a refund of line rental money which they continued to charge me even after the account was closed in April this year. I wrote an email yesterday to the top bods and ... hey presto! Today I get a call to tell me my cheque is in the post! Result!

And the postal strike starts ... oh dear ...

Sorry to be possibly sounding rude here but you simply don't seem to understand:

E-MAIL DOESN'T WORK WITH THESE GUYS - YOU HAVE TO PUT PEN TO PAPER! 

Nothing else works! If a court summons from Northampton court doesn't work, and bailiffs arriving at their front door didn't work (initially) then what hope do you really have of being taken seriously with an e-mail?

The people you need to write to are 'mike.read AT pipex.net' , 'peter.dubens AT pipex.net' (Pipex CEO and Chairman)and 'sheena.shah AT pipex.net' (Head of Cust Service, I think). I must say though, that while i did get an immediate phone call from someone who seemed fairly responsible a.k.a. "Management" on the 4th of Oct (date of my first posting) it did take over a month for the cheque to reach me, which finally arrived only a week ago, with not so much as an apology!!
