    Sky Broadband Poor Conection

    Like alot of people in my area we were delighted we Sky Broadband became available. I had problems with Tiscali but Sky is something else. They had to replace my router within a day or recieving it due to constant connection drops and the problem still consists even though they kindly dropped my connection speed from 5.6mb to 4.7mb. One one day alone my connection dropped over 40 times in 1/2 hour!! I complained and they said it was resolved and despite some improvement I am still have to either discontect or reboot the router to get a connection going again.

     I began to think it was my line but the learnt that everyone I spoke to who was connected to my exchange or a neighbouring exchanged were experiencing the same issues. Conclusing. Poor SKY service and  possible a very high contention ratio. They need to get their house in order to retain me after the 12 months. Although I think there should be an opt out clause in such cases as I would consider this in the same was as faulty goods purchased from a shop!.
