I am glad to see I am not the only one.
Actually, I can't be bothered to list the detail of the problems I have had at two addresses with Pipex. Suffice it to say it involved overcharging, lack of customer service telephone reps, non-responses to e-mails, failure to follow up agreed actions on calls, failure to cancel a line or a DD 6 months after i had moved address etc.
Also Pipex wll not provide wireless router to existing customers and their wired modem is incompatiblle with wireless routers
The real issue is their customer service; on the phone, half an hour to get through and then whatever you discuss with them disappears into a black hole so you have to start again. By e-mail and you might as well not bother.
I woud go for a MAC code but am concerned about the problems other users have had with this so will wait until a period when I am on hols and don't need a connection.
