Like others I have a long history of unresolved grievance with Tiscali; too tedious to relate here. However, it is their breathtaking incompetence (I do not believe it is willful or a conspiracy) in the way they handle customer dissatisfaction that is most intollerable. I do not believe Tiscali will change unless there is mass protest that gets a lot of publicity. NTL / Virgin customers got themselves organised to do just this.Moderator - Link to forum removed, in line with MS terms of service.
I am not sure if it still exists, but there was a similar user site called I Hate Orange. I understand that initially they ignored the site and hoped it would go away. Then it dawned on them that this was actually a golden opportunity to actually learn how to improve (are you watching Tiscali???). Of course if the site also gave advice on good alternatives and how to move to them, this might get some traction with Tiscali.
I don't have the technical nous to set up such a site, but would be delighted if we could collectively provide such an opportunity to 'help Tiscali improve'. Anyone technical out there willing and able to initiate this?
